We’re organizing an open style boulder competition on 14.2.2026 Saturday at our 24/7 Boulder (opposite main hall). There will be a men`s and women´s series and this time also a U16 series for girls and boys. Otherwise there’s no age limit to the competition. The U16 participants can also get into finals if their score allows it. If no one from U16 series get’s into finals their winners will be decided based on the qualification results. The qualification round will have about 30 routes so there will be a wide variety of routes to try even if you’re not aiming for the finals.
We will have two starts for qualifications to reduce crowding on specific areas and to allow more people to come and enjoy the competition. Everyone will climb on the same routes in the qualification round and competitors are allowed to watch as others try routes. You can try the routes as many times as you can during the allotted time. Cheering for others is encouraged! The top 6 from both series will get to compete in the finals. The finalists will be settled by who gets the most 1. tops, 2. zones and 3. flashes. You’ll receive a paper score card when you sign up at our front desk. Mark your climbs and tries to this score card and return it to competition staff after you’re done. The score card will be used to resolve tie situations if necessary. The final result will be entered through a qr-code with your phone.
The finals round will have 4 routes for both series. Each climber has 4 min to try each route. After everyone has had their attempt at a route, you’ll get to try the next route. While you wait for your turn, you’ll be in a separate quarantine area next to the walls. The winner will be decided by who has the most tops and zones. In a tie situation, it will come down to attempts. Top 3 from both categories will receive a prize. We’ll also give out some smaller prizes among the participants. As awards we have for example free premium membership for a year on 27 crags!
Competitors can come and go as they want from the competition venue during qualifications. During the day competitors and volunteers can enjoy refreshments from Olvi’s KevytOlo line and Teho sports + protein drinks. Otherwise you can bring your own snacks and drinks. Our café has some small snacks, various coffees and other refreshments on sale. Next to the competition venue there’s a Sale market with a wider range of products on offer.
24/7 Boulder will be closed during 11.-14.2. because of the competition setting. The door links will be out of use during this time. The links will be back in use after the competition is over. The boulder will have the finals routes and possibly some qualification routes for you to climb on Sunday. We will start setting new routes on Monday morning. The main hall facilities are in use as usual during the week according to our opening hours.
